My name is Beverly J Durrett. I am the owner and operator of SincereCare Agency, LLC. I have over 20 years of experience caring for individuals with intellectual disabilities. After working many years in this field I decided to branch out on my own. While working for bigger companies throughout the industry I was starting to feel the loss of personal touch. At SincereCare we strive to make each individual feel heard, respected, and valued as well as make sure they are able to participate in the community doing activities that they enjoy.

The name “SincereCare” comes from a lighthearted family story. My mother and my aunt used to tell me I should open a home for older people or people with disabilities because I was sincere and really wanted to make sure my participants receive quality heart-felt care. They would joke that I should call it the Sincere Home. While I never opened a home, SincereCare was created in honor of my late mother and auntie.

My why is simple. Throughout my lifetime, I have worked in many different fields, but I’ve never felt fulfilled. In this field, I feel like I am making a difference and that I am truly appreciated. I am honored and blessed to be able to do what I love for people I love. The individuals I provide services for do way more for me than I can ever do for them, allowing me to see them grow and enjoy their lives. I cannot count how many times I have been out in the community with my individuals and complete strangers said to me that I am good at what I do and they can tell I really care. It means a lot to me and never gets old.

My nephew was diagnosed with autism at 2 years old. He is 19 now and is able to participate in my program. After he was diagnosed, I wanted to make sure a program was created for him and individuals like him to have choices and opportunities like everyone else. I am proud to achieve that goal.
